| Why?: | I love these words because they reflect very much the way that I felt during my teenage years as I wrestled with eternal issues. I remember being overwhelmed by the immensity of the universe – particularly when I went away on camps and took the chance to star-gaze. I found it hard to imagine how a God who made all of that, and inhabits even all the space between, could be interested in a sinful person like me. And yet, in Jesus Christ, God became flesh and “visited” this world to make a way for me to be saved. I still find that quite astonishing. | |
| Other Information: | Kirk is married to Simone and has two young children. They enjoy trips to Cronulla and bushwalking. | |
